O que comer para ter a pele mais firme

What to eat for firmer skin

Losing skin firmness is a natural part of the aging process, but there's a lot you can do every day to keep your skin more toned, elastic, and youthful. Collagen, the protein responsible for giving skin its structure, is naturally produced by the body. The key is choosing the right foods to support this production… and also to protect the collagen that already exists.

Discover what to eat (and do) to strengthen skin firmness from the inside out — with flavor, texture, and rituals that make all the difference.

1. Nutrients that support skin firmness

Protein: the starting point

It's impossible to talk about firmness without talking about protein. Protein provides the necessary amino acids for the body to produce collagen—without protein, the skin's structure loses density, strength, and resilience.

Plant-based sources like legumes, seeds, nuts, and even eggs are practical options to include in meals. For an easy-to-integrate daily boost, you can also use our Pure Beauty Protein without additives or sugars, ideal for smoothies, porridges, or energy snacks. On our blog you'll find many recipe ideas using plant-based protein.

Vitamin C: activates and protects

Vitamin C is essential not only for stimulating the natural production of collagen, but also for protecting existing fibers from damage caused by oxidative stress.

Fruits like kiwi, strawberries, and citrus fruits, or vegetables like red bell peppers and acerola cherries, are good sources. The combination of protein and vitamin C is especially powerful for keeping skin firm and nourished. Therefore, at the end of this text we've included a simple and delicious recipe for a Strawberry Shake, which combines the best of these two ingredients to care for your skin from the inside out.

Good fats: elasticity and nutrition

Skin needs healthy fats to maintain its elasticity and regenerative capacity. Avocado, olive oil, coconut oil, and seeds are foods that help deeply nourish the skin and also facilitate the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins such as A, D, E, and K—all essential for radiant skin.

Include these foods in simple, hearty meals, such as a salad with avocado and olive oil or a smoothie with coconut milk and chia seeds.

Zinc + Silica: essential minerals

These two minerals are among the greatest allies for firm skin. Zinc is essential for skin regeneration and healing, while silica helps in collagen formation and strengthens the skin's structure.

You can find them in foods like cucumber, pumpkin seeds, or specific infusions. For a daily boost, we recommend combining Beauty Infusion with Beauty Drops , which contain highly bioavailable plant silica.

Antioxidants + Beta-carotene: preserve collagen.

More than just producing collagen, it's important to protect it — and that's where antioxidants come in. Red berries, matcha , carrots, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes help fight free radicals, preventing premature aging.

Beta-carotene, for example, is converted into vitamin A in the body and directly supports cell renewal. Extra tip: combine it with a good fat (such as olive oil or avocado) to improve absorption.

Hydration: the often-forgotten factor

Without hydration, there is no firmness—or radiance. Drinking enough water throughout the day, consuming remineralizing infusions, and including foods with a high water content (such as cucumber or watermelon) is essential to maintaining toned and healthy skin.

Reinforce with minerals like zinc and silica for deep and effective hydration — from within.
