4 quick massages to combat cellulite

Body Gua Sha is one of our favorite beauty tools. Shall we go for massages?

Tips:

  • Always apply oil to your body to make the massage easier. We recommend Firme oil , specially formulated with firming and slimming botanical active ingredients.
  • Use gentle, gentle movements - the aim is not to hurt the skin or feel pain during the massage
  • The Gua Sha should only have a slight inclination , it should be practically close to the skin (15º). Do not place it at a 90º angle, as this is not the correct shape.

Neck

If you work a lot on the computer or have long, stressful days, then this massage is really perfect. Start by applying the oil to the neck area and massage with your hands. Then, with Gua Sha, start at the back of the neck, sliding it up to the shoulders. Repeat the movement about 10 times, on both sides.

Abdominal

Start with the obliques, sliding the Gua Sha to the navel area, from the side. Then, from top to bottom, starting below the chest and sliding down to the bottom of the belly. Lastly, to stimulate digestion, massage your belly in circular movements, clockwise.

Legs

By massaging your legs, not only will you be stimulating the lymph nodes at the back of the knee and pelvic area, you will also be improving or preventing cellulite. Start at the base of your foot and slide the stone toward your knee. Then, from the knee to the pelvic area and buttocks. It's also an excellent way to relieve built-up tension in your legs.

Arms

To stimulate the lymph nodes in the elbows and armpits, start by massaging the shoulders, in semi-circles, about 10 times. Then, start moving the Gua Sha from the elbow to the armpit area. Finish with longer movements, covering the entire arm, from the hand to the armpit.
