Anti-Aging Cake

 The cake we all should try. It is delicious and good for the skin.

Anti-Aging Cake

  • 200g unsalted butter

  • 180g brown or brown sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • 150g whole wheat or spelt flour

  • 150g almond kernels (ground almonds)

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 50g sliced almonds

  • 4 tablespoons of honey

  • 1 tablespoon of Pure Beauty



  1. Heat the oven to 170º. Grease a springform pan with butter, line the bottom with parchment paper and set aside.

  2. Beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl until you get a fluffy, creamy mixture. Beat the eggs one at a time, adding a tablespoon of the flour with each. Add the almond kernels and Pure Beauty with a large spoon. Sift the remaining flour and baking powder on top and mix gently.

  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, leveling the top. Sprinkle evenly with the sliced almonds. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry when inserted in the center.

  4. Remove the cake from the oven. While still warm, drizzle with the honey, try to do so evenly. Let it cool slightly before serving. Goes well with natural Greek yogurt and fresh raspberries.
