Anti-Aging Cake

Ingredients

  • 200g of unsalted butter

  • 180g of brown or muscovado sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • 150g of wholemeal or spelt flour

  • 150g of almond kernels (ground almonds)

  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

  • 50g of sliced ​​almonds

  • 4 tablespoons of honey

  • 1 tablespoon of Pure Beauty

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F). Grease a springform pan with butter, line the base with parchment paper, and set aside.

  2. Beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and creamy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, adding a tablespoon of flour with each. Stir in the ground almonds and Beleza Pura with a large spoon. Sift the remaining flour and baking powder over the top and gently mix.

  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, leveling the top. Sprinkle evenly with the sliced ​​almonds. Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  4. Remove the cake from the oven. While still warm, drizzle with honey, trying to do so evenly. Let it cool slightly before serving. It goes well with plain Greek yogurt and fresh raspberries.
