The Best Hair Loss Routine
With fall and winter comes seasonal hair loss. Whether you're already experiencing it or want to prevent it, this routine is for you.
Maybe you've noticed that your hair is weaker and it's usually always at this time of year.
But why does hair fall out more with the arrival of autumn?
During the summer, hair is exposed to UV rays, sea water and chlorine from swimming pools. We relax into our routines and perhaps forget to do the mask or apply serum consistently.
Furthermore, the body is believed to be responding to hormonal changes. With the time change, and therefore fewer hours of light, our circadian rhythms change and, consequently, so does our hormone production.
So this is the right time to boost hydration, stimulate the scalp, and make sure we don't have any missing vitamins or micronutrients. Here's what the perfect anti-fall routine!
Boost hydration
Temperature changes alter the hair's natural moisture content, and you may have already overexposed your hair during the summer. Good moisture is synonymous with elasticity and strength. Ideally, you should apply a mask to the hair while you sleep. The longer you do it, the more the nutrients from the mask penetrate the hair cuticles - the longer that is why it is so important that the ingredients are 100% natural. Remove excess grease with a deep wash with shampoo e conditioner.
Massaging the scalp
It's like preparing the soil to put seeds in and waiting for them to grow. Without a healthy scalp, hair will not proliferate. Massaging the scalp stimulates blood circulation, strengthens the roots of the hair, and increases the absorption of nutrients through the hair follicles. Just put a few drops of serum on the hands or directly at the hair root, and massage with the fingertips in circular motions.
Avoid combing wet hair
Wet hair is more elastic and the force of brushing can pull or break strands. The ideal is to brush your hair dry, before washing it. And during the wash, don't tangle it again. Wash the scalp with circular movements and gently "squeeze" the hair between your hands. In this way, you leave the shower with your hair combed and ready to dry.
Eat real food
Good nutrients = good hair. It is important that we maintain a good intake of healthy fats, micronutrients, and vitamins. Avocados, nuts, legumes, oily fish chia seeds for Omega-3, dark green vegetables, citrus and kiwis (Vitamin C!), eggs, sweet potatoes, and seaweed (for a good source of iodine) - stock your pantry and fridge with them all!
Consider supplementing
Various phases of our lives may require extra help, whether it's postpartum, menopause, more stressful phases... Um natural supplementable to regulate the production of cortisol (the stress hormone), support hormone production and give a boost of vitamins and nutrients, can make all the difference in the appearance of our hair, controlling hair loss and encouraging the growth of new strands.
Avoid pinning your hair and blow-drying it
Above all, avoid ponytails that are too tight. They create tension in the hair strands and make them break more easily. Excessive use of blow dryers and straightening boards make hair dry and brittle, so when possible, let your hair dry naturally.
Avoid chemical dyes
If you dye your hair and have not yet surrendered to Hennayou might want to give it a try. The hair dyes are full of chemical compounds that penetrate the hair scalp. In addition, they make hair drier, brittle and more fragile. If you opt for a natural hair color, not only will you be giving your hair a new color, but you will be nourishing it with each coloring. You can follow step by step in this video.
Avoid smoking
We know that smoking damages our health in general, and in the case of hair, it inhibits blood circulation in the scalp and follicles, not allowing the proper distribution of oxygen and nutrients necessary for strong and healthy hair. The toxins present in tobacco also penetrate the hair follicles, causing negative changes.
Manage your emotions and rest!
The same old advice that works for so many problems in our lives. High stress levels and bad sleep are the enemies of good skin and hair. For a more restful and regenerating sleep try our drops.
Be patient and consistent
Hair grows approximately one centimeter per month. And it has natural cycles of growth, rest and fall. We cannot change this mechanics, nor can our genetics or age, which also influence it. But we can, be patient and consistent with our hair care routines, and our daily habits.
You will see the difference!
