It's not that chlorophyll is new or something unknown, but recently I've noticed it's been discussed more than usual, especially on TikTok (that's what happens when you have teenage daughters and nieces!). So, I thought it was a good time to talk about this amazing ingredient from nature.

Chlorophyll is a green pigment found in plants, responsible for their color, and its function is to absorb light to perform photosynthesis. Just as it benefits the survival of plants, it can also be beneficial to our health. That's why it's one of the main ingredients in our Detox Drops (simply mix 4 full droppers in a glass of water) – and I like to take them first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

ANTIOXIDANT PROPERTIES

Chlorophyll is rich in antioxidants – it is believed they have 2,000 times more antioxidants than blueberries! They are essential for preventing cell damage caused by free radicals, thus preventing premature skin aging.

Chlorophyll aids digestion by increasing beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract. It is also antimicrobial, helping you get rid of harmful bacteria in the digestive system.
