Why should we use natural deodorant?
Find out which ingredients you don't want to find on the label of your deodorant.
Maybe we tend not to pay so much attention to our armpits, because they're hidden or associated with something less clean (perspiration), but we should. Taking care of your armpits is no less important than taking care of the skin on your face or body. Some of the reasons:
- The armpit area protects lymph nodes, blood vessels and nerves.
- It is susceptible to bacteria and infections because it is dark, moist and warm - the perfect environment for microorganisms to grow.
- Underarm skin is extremely sensitive, very vulnerable to swelling and rashes.
Ingredients to avoid
We must be careful when we see the terms "fragrance" or "perfume" in the list of ingredients. Firstly, it is so broad that it could be based on any ingredient, which is not being fully disclosed to us. Secondly, because synthetic fragrances are of little benefit, especially for women, as they are endocrine disruptors and alter our hormone production. If you have thyroid problems, for example, then you really should pay attention.
O aluminum is another of the most common ingredients, especially in antiperspirants, and this metal can alter the genes in breast tissue, paving the way for serious diseases. More than half of breast tumors appear in the upper area, near the armpit. Not to mention the fact that it is responsible for antiperspirant action, which is totally wrong, because our bodies should be able to perspire and expel sweat - we can simply control odor naturally.
It's worth saying that what we apply to the skin can pass directly into the bloodstream (unlike what we eat, for example, which has to be metabolized by the liver and digestive system). Studies suggest that the chemicals used in deodorants can be stored in our fat cells, which are abundant in the armpits, where we also have many hormone receptors.
All mpl'beauty deodorants deodorants are aluminum-free and the wonderful aromas come only from natural and organic essential oils.
What a good deodorant should have:
-
Natural ingredients that we recognize from nature.
-
A moisturizing agent, such as coconut oil, cocoa butter or shea butter, so that we can apply them easily and at the same time moisturize the skin in this area.
-
Something that neutralizes odours, without blocking perspirationsuch as activated charcoal or clay.
-
An ingredient capable of absorbing moisture, such as starch, clay or arrowroot powder.
mpl'beauty deodorants
The first was Pink cream and we now have four creams and three sticks, as we have been developing formulas according to your feedback.
One of the most common ingredients in natural deodorants is sodium bicarbonatea natural ingredient that is highly powerful at neutralizing odours. So effective that this range of deodorants, both cream and stick, is a bestseller all year round. The feedback we get is that it's effective at keeping armpits dry and odor-free all day long. If you haven't tried pcan start with Pink or Tangerine. Both are highly effective and you can even alternate the "scents" if you like them both.
If you have more sensitive skin and don't sweat much, we have created other deodorants specifically for more sensitive and reactive skin. You should choose Calm (here stick) or by Sensitive.
On Calmthe key ingredient is magnesium. Why does it work? Because deficits of this mineral can alter and worsen the smell of sweat. Magnesium also has a relaxing action, which makes us perspire less. It also contains activated charcoal, which removes impurities, toxins and oil.
On the other hand Sensitive contains zinc for anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial action, high absorption due to pink clay, and soothing properties thanks to blue tansy essential oil.
Now that you have all the information, all you have to do is choose your natural deodorant for your skin
