Mousse de Chocolate Saudável

Chocolate and Tofu Mousse

This is a recipe I've been making for over 20 years. The years pass and I always return to her. It's really quick to make and only contains 4 ingredients that I always have on hand.

So when I need "that" sweet treat, which has to be quick and healthy, I sometimes remember this mousse.

I hope you like it as much as I do.

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS

  • 100g of Chocolate
  • 300g of organic Silken Tofu, at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup, extra if desired
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder or essence

PREPARATION

  1. Melt chocolate in double boiler. Stir occasionally until melted. Remove from the heat and let it come to room temperature.
  2. Drain the tofu, gently so it doesn't fall apart. Rinse under cold water. Place in a blender glass along with the maple syrup and vanilla. Add the melted chocolate and beat until you get a creamy mixture.
  3. Divide into glasses or bowls and store in the fridge for 20 minutes or until firmer. This step is really important for the mousse to be very creamy and thick.
  4. Decorate with red fruits if desired and enjoy!

*I only use organic certified tofu. Very important indeed.
