What do I need to know about “ face cupping ”?

“Face cupping” is an ancestral modality of Traditional Chinese Medicine, known for detoxifying and cleansing the skin and its layers.

Helps break up stagnation and congestion in tissues while stimulating blood circulation. It also helps activate the lymphatic system to remove toxins from the skin.

It works through light suction in which cups are slid over the face and neck, in order to “make everything move” helping to de-puff, better define the contour of the face, enhance firmness, luminosity and fill in fine lines.

What are the benefits of this technique?

This technique not only sculpts, tones and firms the skin but also improves the contour of the face (particularly the jaw), de-puffs and helps smooth out fine lines (perfect for the area around the eyes, lips and forehead). You can also use the smaller cup to soothe skin breakouts.

How to use?

This kit includes two premium silicone cups and a bag to store them.

LARGE CUP developed for larger areas of the face (cheeks, jaw and forehead) and neck.

SMALL CUP for more delicate areas around the eyes and lips.

SERUM SCULPT developed specifically to perform this massage - perfect for preparing the skin for the cupping ritual and as a daily moisturizer. A blend of botanical actives that delicately balance, soften and close pores.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE USE:

• the more you press the cup, the more suction it will create. To ease the suction, press less;

• always use light suction , especially around the eyes;

• support the skin with the opposite hand to prevent overstretching;

• pinch and release the cup to create a pumping action;

• the cups should slide without friction, make sure you have enough SCULPT serum on your skin;

• Having scarred or red skin is not the goal. Leaving the cups on the skin with strong suction can cause blackheads. The cups should not stay in the same place for more than a few seconds;

• these cups are not suitable for use directly on skin cancer, easily marked skin or wounds;

• wait 2 to 3 weeks to use the cups over any area that has been injected or botoxed; TO USE

• 1/ Breathe deeply.

• 2/ Generously massage the SCULPT serum onto the face and neck.

• 3/ Start cupping using both cup sizes. Use light suction to work the face and neck.

• The gentle suction created by these small cups helps to stimulate the skin's collagen and elastin - plumping, firming and helping with lymphatic drainage. It is normal to see some redness, as you are exercising your facial muscles and stimulating blood circulation.

  After performing the cupping technique, we suggest applying a facial mask - such as Luminosa - which will help to deeply hydrate the skin.

  

  What are the key ingredients of the serum?

  This serum is made up of two key ingredients - rosehip and pomegranate - that work in synergy to reduce blemishes, wrinkles and expression lines.

  Rosehip oil is an oil obtained from the seeds of the wild rosehip plant - rich in fatty acids, such as linoleic acid; in addition to vitamin A and C, which have a regenerating effect and help maintain the integrity of the skin. Furthermore, rosehip oil is capable of reinforcing the production of collagen and elastin, which strengthens and gives firmness to the skin, and is also responsible for deeply nourishing it. It also has an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect.

  Pomegranate contains nourishing and moisturizing properties that help improve skin elasticity and smoothness.
