HOW TO ENJOY THE SUN WITHOUT SKIN BLEMISHES

The sunny days are finally here, with temperatures rising and life outside calling out to us. At this time of year, we seem to come out of our shells and all we want to do is recharge our batteries, replenish our Vitamin D levels and enjoy long sunbathing sessions.

But we mustn't forget: the sun is beautiful and wonderful, but it's also one of the main factors in skin ageing (known as photo-ageing), so we need to be careful and protect our skin at this time when we're most exposed.

Enjoy the sun without risk

The sun is truly incredible with its beauty and warmth, and its healing power is undoubtedly immense, helping us to recover our good mood. That's why it's so important to sunbathe, but with your head down, protecting your health.

A really good principle is that we should avoid sunbathing at its peak hours (yes, just like children. The best times to be in the sun are in the morning and late afternoon. To be absolutely avoided: the 11:30 - 16:00 range). If it's not possible to be in the shade during the most intense hours, we suggest wearing a large hat and clothing that covers you. And of course, a must whenever we are outside, leaving our skin more susceptible: sunscreen.
