CACAO CHAI
This drink is ideal for helping to balance the nervous system, elevate mood, and protect the immune system - and on top of that, it has a wonderful cocoa flavor.
Knowing the benefits cocoa has on our bodies is why I chose it as one of the ingredients in the Calma drink. When I'm feeling more nervous or when I want something similar to hot chocolate (but full of benefits), I add 1 teaspoon to plant-based milk. It's ideal for helping to relieve tension and anxiety.
Ingredients

1 slightly heaped teaspoon of reishi

1 tablespoon of raw cocoa

1 teaspoon of Calma (optional)

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon cardamom

1 teaspoon of ashwagandha

1 tablespoon of raw cocoa butter
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of your favorite milk (I used homemade coconut milk)
Preparation

Place all ingredients in a saucepan and heat with the water. Bring to a boil and stir until everything is well dissolved and homogeneous.

Add the milk and turn off the heat.

Pour the mixture into a blender, blend until everything is mixed and you get that nice foamy consistency.

Serve and add rose petals on top and a pinch of black pepper.
