The best brownies ever!

I'm always on the lookout for the best brownie recipe, and this is the best one I've found so far! If you love brownies as much as I do, you need to try this recipe. If you don't like tahini, that's fine, just omit it.


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup of unsalted butter
  • 200g of cooking chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • 200g of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla (essence or powder)
  • 1 cup of spelt flour
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa
  • 4 tablespoons of tahini

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C. Line a square baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate in a double boiler. Once melted, remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
  3. In a medium bowl, gently beat the eggs and sugar together, being careful not to overbeat and incorporate too much air.
  4. Add the melted chocolate to the egg mixture along with the vanilla. Mix well.
  5. Sift the flour and cocoa powder over the top and gently mix and incorporate. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Spoon dollops of tahini over the top to create a marbled effect. Bake for 25 minutes. The brownies should still be soft in the center. Let cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
