ALL ABOUT FACIAL SERUMS

TUDO SOBRE SÉRUNS FACIAIS - MPL beauty

I've seen many women share that they've switched to using concentrated facial serums instead of moisturizers and how it's improved their skin health. I can understand why, and I wanted to explain a little bit of the science behind this "magic."

What is a serum?

Serums have a high concentration of active ingredients – which can reach up to 70%, compared to moisturizing creams, where the value is between 5 and 10%. This translates into greater effectiveness.

They are designed to be conductive agents and not clog pores. It is common for some moisturizers to have mineral oils or petrolatum in their base, which obstruct the passage of what we really want to reach the deepest layer of the skin - the antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins.

Some serums are even water-based, precisely to avoid this clogging. Therefore, they are much more suitable for acne-prone skin, because they are absorbed by the skin before leaving residue that forms pimples. Attention, ladies! The fact that we have oily skin doesn't mean we don't need to moisturize it. When we stop doing so, our sebaceous cells end up increasing oil production to combat this lack of hydration. We end up with the opposite results! Hence the importance of proper hydration, and a serum can help you stay hydrated without clogging your skin with unnecessary oil.

Which serum is right for me?

If you have skin prone to blemishes, I recommend PURO SOL .

If you enjoy sunbathing or are regularly exposed to the sun, then Puro Sol is ideal for you. Hypoallergenic and anti-sunspot, with jojoba oil and numerous cold-pressed nourishing plants - it will care for your skin, toning and deeply hydrating it.

If you have sensitive and oily skin, I recommend REPARA .

To rebalance your skin. It doesn't clog pores, allowing for deep hydration and skin purification. It's effective in fighting acne and will help you achieve a more even complexion.

If you feel your skin is dull, I recommend ILLUMINATE .

Rich in Vitamin E, essential fatty acids, and B vitamins, it will restore radiance to your skin. It's ideal for drier skin types, deeply hydrating and toning it.

If your skin is exposed to more polluted environments, I recommend a DETOX .

With calming essential oils like lavender, and antioxidants and anti-inflammatories like rose, it's the perfect daily cleanser for even the most sensitive skin. Skin reflects our stress and the environments we frequent, and this serum helps to alleviate adverse effects such as blemishes or irritation.

And some extra help:

The serum CORRECTS It helps with more persistent pimples by applying the roll-on directly to the affected areas. With cajeput and niaouli, it has drying, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial properties.

And don't forget the EFFECTIVE one, to delay the appearance of wrinkles and lines on the skin around the eyes and lips. It's also a super practical roll-on, specially formulated for the more sensitive skin around the eyes and lips. It moisturizes and lifts the features, keeping wrinkles at bay.

Our skin goes through several cycles , and sometimes we need to give it different things. I see many differences throughout the month – just a lapse in diet or sleep, or those pimples that warn us that our period is approaching. That's why I created the Mini Serum Kit, to give your skin what it needs at the right time. It's also a chance to try three different serums and choose your favorite!

I hope I've helped you choose the ideal serum for you!
