🏽Answering questions
Cleansing oils are wonderful for cleansing all skin types, from the driest to the oiliest. The key is finding the right oil for your skin type.
I have dry skin, should I cleanse my skin less often?
Absolutely not! Cleansing your skin is truly a basic ritual, where everything begins, and you can't get it wrong. If you have dry skin, you should be careful not to use products with a very aggressive pH, such as gel or foam products, as these are more likely to unbalance the skin's pH. These products with a lot of foam have a more alkaline pH that will accentuate dryness, irritation, and discomfort.
My skin tends to be very oily, can I use an oil on it?
The answer is yes, yes, and yes! It seems contradictory, but because they respect the skin's natural oils, cleansing oils can actually help control excessive oil production. Ultimately, it's a matter of balance. When we cleanse our skin with more "aggressive" products, like a gel or foam, it can trigger the opposite effect: the skin becomes more irritated and reacts by producing more oil. This doesn't happen with natural cleansing oils.
What if I don't cleanse my skin before bed?
That's a terrible idea. It's essential to cleanse your skin every night before bed to remove dirt, impurities, makeup, dead skin cells, and pollution. If you don't do this, it's like wearing a face mask of dirt and toxins, which will cause premature aging, acne, and an uneven texture.
Are cleansing oils good for removing makeup? And what about sunscreen?
Absolutely! They cleanse deeply but gently, removing all traces of makeup (even waterproof makeup) and even the thickest sunscreen from the skin. You can use them all over your face, including around your eyes, and to remove lipstick.
How to use your cleansing oil

For your oil cleansing ritual to be truly effective and delightful, you will need a cotton facial towel . Wet the 100% cotton facial towel in hot water and rinse. Repeat this process at least twice, so the towel gets nice and warm and can create the desired steam effect. Then, cover your face with the warm, damp towel. The heat will work and help open your pores. Finally, pour a few drops of jasmine oil or camellia oil onto the damp towel and gently massage it in circular motions over your face and neck.
