Matcha Pancakes

Panquecas de Matcha - MPL beauty

Nothing beats some pancakes for breakfast. These are fluffy and delicious with an original twist using one of my favorite mixes: Matcha Latte !

I hope you enjoy it as much as we do here at home.

Matcha Pancakes

serves  4

Ingredients

1 cup (125g) of all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons of FOCUS matcha latte mix

1 tablespoon of sugar (or sweetener to taste)

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1/4 teaspoon of baking soda

1/8 teaspoon of salt

3/4 cup (180ml) of milk, whatever you like best.

1 egg

1 tablespoon of melted unsalted butter (plus a little extra for cooking)

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Optional Coverages:

Maple syrup or honey

Fresh fruit (such as berries or bananas)

yogurt

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, FOCO matcha latte mix, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well. Set aside.

  2. In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  3. Gradually add the liquid ingredients to the bowl of dry ingredients. Mix gently until combined, but do not overmix (the batter may be slightly lumpy).

  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter.

  5. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter per pancake into the skillet.

  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges are firm (approximately 2-3 minutes).

  7. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.

  8. Place the pancakes on a plate and add your favorite toppings. Sprinkle with a little matcha for a finishing touch.

Tips :

For even fluffier pancakes, let the batter rest for 5-10 minutes before cooking.

Adjust the amount of sugar or matcha to your liking.

We hope you enjoy your matcha pancakes! Share how they turned out!
