1. What I am reading:
The Surrender Experiment by Michael Singer.
I discovered this book by chance, in a course I was taking with Zach Bush where every month there's a book club with various selections of "positive" books. This book makes us think about how much easier it would be if we lived in a less reactive way.
2. What am I hearing?
The Artists Way by Julia Cameron.
I spend a lot of time in the car, and I try to make the most of that time... which often seems wasted. I listen to a lot of books... I love them. This one in particular was "behind me" for a while... I always heard about it in various different situations. So much so that I decided to listen to it, and thank goodness! It's very insightful and constructive. It has helped me a lot in my daily life.
3. The podcast I enjoyed most this week:
Huge Seth Godin fan (if you haven't read it and you have the entrepreneurial spirit, read this book!). And of course, who doesn't love Rich Roll?! Lots of great tips in this podcast.

4. What I always use:
Apply Super Hair Serum to the scalp at least twice a week.
Always using Bergamot Shampoo and drying my hair with the Dyson cool setting. Why? If you haven't seen the video about hair that I made, it's worth watching! It explains how to prevent hair loss and stimulate growth naturally and very successfully. Watch it here .
5. To use:
I'll wear these VintageBazaar earrings on repeat.
And this kimono already smells like Spring!

6. To do every Saturday
Here at home it's a tradition. Some people like them even more "rare," with the dough still in the middle (Diogo and I). Try them, they're worth it. A super quick weekend treat.
Pancake Recipe
serves 4
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (I use white all-purpose flour)
1 heaping teaspoon of yeast
2 tablespoons of brown sugar or honey
1 cup of milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter - extra for cooking the pancakes
In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and sugar. Set aside.
In a measuring jug, combine the milk, egg, and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into the bowl with the flour. Incorporate with a whisk. Add the melted butter and mix well.
Heat a skillet over medium heat (I use the one I melted the butter in... without cleaning it). Melt a little more butter. Drop spoonfuls of pancake batter into the skillet – whatever size you like, we make them small at home. Flip when bubbles start to appear on the surface and cook until golden brown.
Serve with maple syrup or jam.
Chai Recipe
Obsessed with this drink. It's hard to find good chai. But I discovered some a little further away, here when I went to visit my daughter Marina in Copenhagen (she's working in a pastry shop there).
This recipe is based on the one they have in their self-published book.
This recipe makes enough for several drinks; simply store it in the refrigerator and reheat it whenever you want.

Let it steep for 5 minutes.
Pour into a teapot, straining out the spices.
Serve.
7. Speaking of teapots, what about this one by Anna Westerlund ?
I know there are other colors and shapes available at Anna and Teresa's Together store.
