1. What I'm reading:
I discovered this book by chance, on a course I was taking with
Zach Bush where every month there is a
book club with several selections of "positive" books. This book makes us think about how much easier it would be if we lived in a less reactive way.
2. What I'm listening to:
I spend a lot of time in the car, and I try my best to make the most of that time... which often seems wasted. I listen to a lot of books... I love them. This one in particular was "after me" for a while... always hearing about him in several different situations. So much so that I decided to listen and thank goodness! It is very inoperative and constructive. It has helped me a lot in my daily life.
3. The podcast I liked most this week:
Mega fan of Seth Godin (if you haven't read it and you have the soul of a businesswoman, read
this book!). And of course who doesn't like Rich Roll?! Lots of good tips in this podcast.
4. What I don't stop using:
Always use
Bergamot Shampoo and dry your hair with a Dyson cold dryer. Why? If you haven't seen the video about the hair I did, it's worth it! Explains how to prevent hair loss and stimulate growth naturally and with great success.

5. To use:
And this
kimono that already smells like Spring!
6. To do every Saturday
It's tradition here at home. There are those who like them more “undercooked” with dough still in the middle (Diogo and me). Try it, it's worth it. A super quick weekend treat
Pancakes Recipe
serves 4
1 1/2 cups unbleached flour (I use white smart flour)
1 heaped teaspoon of yeast
2 dessert spoons of brown sugar or honey
1 cup of milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
2 dessert spoons of unsalted butter, melted - extra for cooking the pancakes
In a large bowl, mix the flour, yeast and sugar. Reserve.
In a measuring jug, place the milk, egg and vanilla. Mix. Turn into the bowl with the flour. Incorporate with a whisk. Add the melted butter and mix well.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat (I use the one I melted the butter in... without cleaning). Melt another dollop of butter. Drop spoonfuls of the pancake batter into the frying pan - whatever size you like, we make small ones at home. Turn over when bubbles start to appear on the surface and cook until golden.
Serve with maple syrup or jam.
Chai Recipe
Obsessed with this drink. It's hard to find a good chai. But I discovered one a little far away,
here when I went to visit my daughter Marina in Copenhagen (she works in a pastry shop there).
This recipe is based on the one they have in their self-published book.
The recipe makes enough to drink a few times, just store it in the fridge and heat it whenever you want.
7 cardamoms
4 black peppers
2 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
Pinch of nutmeg
1 teaspoon of Chaga
5 ginger fajitas
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
400ml of water
400ml of milk
Sugar or honey to taste
Place the spices in a mortar and crush lightly. Place all the ingredients in a pan and cook over low heat. Let it come to a boil. Turn off the heat and cover.
Let it infuse for 5 minutes.
Pour into a teapot, straining out the spices.
Serve.
I know there are other colors and shapes in Anna and Teresa's
Together store.
