Mafalda's Tips - The Desire to Start Over

DICAS DA MAFALDA - A VONTADE DE RECOMEÇAR - MPL beauty

I miss the old days of blogging!! I miss sharing, just for the sake of sharing... a simpler, more fluid exchange. Everyday things without too much thought. And that's what I'd like to do again, have a closer relationship with those on this side. What do you think?

I'm always unsure if what I share somehow adds value to the lives of those on the other side... I'm going to believe it does, I won't think about it so much (at least I'll try, I promise) and I'll simply share what's been brightening my days lately... I hope you enjoy it and if you have time, leave a comment here so I can see if you liked it and what you'd like to see.

The longest day of the year is almost here, June 20th, the first day of summer, my favorite season.

Summer fills me with the desire to do things, to experiment. I think it awakens my creativity. I wanted to share my discoveries from these last few days. I hope they are useful.

1. What am I eating?

Obsessed with these cookies (yes, they're organic, refined sugar-free, and gluten-free). I bought the open box and both I and the kids loved them!! My favorite is the dulce de leche one.

2. What am I seeing?

I don't usually watch series or movies, but I was curious about Anne Hathaway's film "The Idea of You"... TERRIBLE!!! Don't watch it... just to avoid all the "cringe" moments that occur in this movie... which seems more like it's for teenagers, but the heroine is in her forties... However, I saw a series that I LOVED!!! This one is for teenagers, but it completely captivated me (I watched all the episodes with my youngest daughter in two days). GEEK GIRL , everything is good, light, and the soundtrack is very good too.

*WARNING: This isn't the most intellectual series, but it's fun to watch!

But if you want something more idyllic and mature... this film is simply beautiful.

3. What am I cooking?

With the longer days, my mood changes and I feel like creating and making new recipes. These have been my "go-to" recipes:

I make Strawberry Matcha Latte almost daily after lunch to help me concentrate and stay more alert... but also for the taste factor - it's more like a delicious dessert after a meal.

Sushi Bowl - I don't use the microwave, I heat it in the oven and it works! At the end I add avocado, cherry tomatoes and any other "greens" I have on hand. Until I get tired of it, I'll be making this dish almost daily for myself.

4. What's always present in my daily routine:

For those who don't know, I decided to let my hair go gray, a "Mafalda-esque" experiment that unfortunately makes many people uncomfortable ;) But I'm loving it!! If I don't like it, I'll just dye over it with henna . But I wanted to know how it would look, and understand why there are wonderful women all over the world who do this and don't "age". What do you think? What's your opinion on gray hair? Share in the comments? I'm curious.

I follow this account for inspiration.

- Since I'm going through this change, I've been using and abusing the Super Hair mask . It seems that now that I've let my hair be its natural texture, it's become even stronger and fuller. The mask helps keep the strands elastic and hydrated. I'm tired of dry and frizzy hair.

Now that the heat seems to be arriving, I need to feel that my body is hydrated; nothing is worse than dry skin on your arms and legs. I've been using Pure Sun balm liberally to keep my body soft, enhance my tan, and restore the integrity of my skin: more elastic and hydrated.

- For my face, I've been using Estée Lauder's tip (yes, I'm obsessed with the woman and entrepreneur she was. I read all the books about her life and I love knowing that in the beginning there was a real concern for the products when she and her husband made them at home by hand) and a great tip was to use a balm she used to make, which inspired me to develop BEST SKIN . So I apply a thick layer of the Best Skin balm to my face and sleep with it on. I cleanse my face normally in the morning with my routine, which you can see me doing in full here . My skin feels soft, supple, and hydrated.

I hope you enjoyed it. ♡ Bye and see you later!

Olá Mafalda! Amei o filme! Pura poesia!

Obrigada pelas dicas. Continue, deste lado gostamos de a ler.
