How to get a good night's sleep
Resting is really very important, but it is not always easy to maintain this balance, because we are restless, worried, with lots of tasks and a thousand thoughts in our mind and we can't turn it off (the story of my life). Sometimes even lying in bed, spinning around in bed without knowing how to calm the mind and relax the body...
When we don't sleep and this state of alertness starts to recur, we immediately feel our body weaker, more tense and tired, our immune system is weakened and is reflected in our skin. Sleep well means that we strengthen our immunity and it's like a button reset. during sleep, our body detoxifies, balances hormones, stabilizes blood pressure, boosts immunity, and releases dead and damaged cells. Our body will more resilient and allows us to better cope with daily stress.
I think it's really important to be able to work on our emotions, to take care of ourselves (from the inside out), so I wanted to share with you some "tricks" to help you rest better and with more quality:
A CUP OF CALM AT THE END OF THE DAY OR AFTER DINNER
Those who know me know that I drink the mix Calm religiously at the end of the day or after dinner (for me it works almost like a dessert, the cocoa flavor has a sweet and cozy effect) see recipe here. This soluble beverage is packed with superfoods and herbs that will help you feel much less anxious, calm, and with an incredible sense of well-being. A good starting point for creating mindset perfect for a good night's sleep (while quenching any craving for a sweet tooth)!
SELF-CARE BEFORE BEDTIME
Start by making your self-care or beauty routineIt doesn't have to be long and time consuming. I do this ritual before I go to bed and it takes no more than 5 minutes!
It can be a moment of relaxation: ideal for cleansing impurities, toxins, and pollution from an intense day. I use the facial towel with the serum Illuminates or Detoxusually. The steam created when you apply the hot towel to the skin is simply extraodinary and relaxing!
Another moment of relaxation can be with the rose quartz mask. It relaxes the eye area, relieving puffiness, dark circles under the eyes, muscle tension and headaches. Used for centuries as a treatment in Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is the perfect ritual to relieve from all the stress accumulated during the day.
With clean skin, place the mask over the eyes and let yourself relax for at least 15 minutes. Afterwards, moisturize especially the eye area withEffective.
Keep the mask in the refrigerator for an even more refreshing effect.
THE SLEEPING DROPS
If you tend to sleep poorly, wake up in the middle of the night and/or have a restless sleep, try taking these drops before dinner. They are a liquid concentrate of medicinal plants, specifically to help you sleep better, deeper, and more soundly.
CREATE THE IDEAL ATMOSPHERE
Setting up a comfortable environment is also a way to disconnect. I suggest turning off the television 1 to 2 hours before bedtime and allow your mind, body, and emotions to relax. Don't have on your bedside table or even next to you any electronic device (I know it's challenging, because there is always something unresolved, to answer... but, keep your cell phone in another room or in flight mode).
Try to bring calm to your room, less bright lights and less noise. If you want, have a notebook nearby and write down whatever you feel like (worries, thoughts, intentions for tomorrow...). The most important thing is that this "ritual" is yours and that feel super comfortable with the little gestures you decide to do or add to sleep better.
Try these simple steps and put intention into each oneso that you can surrender yourself to this revitalizing moment that is sleep. The Sleep Drops will help you feel good, relaxed, and ready to rest. The Next Day you will wake up in a good mood, energized and ready for a new day. Take care of yourself, always!
