From the Inside Out: Barbara Gomes

My name is Bárbara, I'm 25 years old, and I'm the creator of the Greens & Nuts project. I'm a designer and passionate about cooking – about cooking and being able to experience food in new places around the world. I'm still discovering my path and purpose in this area, but I know I'll be happy working on the fusion of design and cooking, providing unique moments and experiences for other people... and that's what I've been working on for the past few years. Currently, I do content production and social media management for brands I love (mostly food-related), catering for events (which I love doing most), and I'm developing a vegan cookbook :). My heart is divided between Cascais and Barcelona, ​​and that's why I like to say I live 50% in each place. I love to travel, I love sunsets, and I love swimming in the sea.

Who and what inspires you? Travel, nature, and women entrepreneurs.

What else do you need to create? A country estate in the Alentejo region with a vegetable garden, a beautiful kitchen, and a studio to develop my projects.

How to maintain creativity? Make time for self-care, exercise, try new restaurants, and find inspiration in nature.

First thing to do when you wake up: Drink coffee.

How to relax at the end of the day: Watch the sunset or have a vermouth on a terrace (when I'm in Barcelona).

My ideal diet is… Vegetarian (with some exceptions for eating meat and/or fish, when my body asks for it)

What you always have in the refrigerator: Fruits and vegetables

Dinner-saving recipe: Take whatever you have in the fridge, put it on a baking sheet, and bake it in the oven with spices.

Favorite drink: Coffee

Favorite snack: Açaí

Favorite restaurants: Nola Kitchen in Porto, M Café in Carcavelos, and Raw Studio in Barcelona (this one is difficult because I have so many restaurants that I love!!!)
