MARBLE BANANA CAKE

Ingredients:
• 3 ripe bananas, mashed
• 2 large eggs
• 1/2 cup melted butter (4 ounces)
• 3/4 cup of sugar (use whatever you like)
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
• 2 cups of all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon of baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Chocolate mix:
• 3 tablespoons of Calma for a special touch!
• 2 tablespoons of milk
PREPARATION:
• Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a loaf pan or English cake tin with butter and flour. Set aside.
• In a bowl, mash the bananas until you get a puree.
• Add the eggs, melted butter, sugar, and vanilla. Mix well until smooth. Set aside.
• In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
• Add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring only until combined (do not overmix).
For the chocolate layer:
• In a small bowl, mix the CALM with the milk. Add 1/3 of the mixture and incorporate.
• Place half of the plain batter into the pan.
• Add spoonfuls of the chocolate mixture on top.
• Using a knife or toothpick, make smooth movements to create a marbled effect.
• Cover with the remaining plain batter and repeat the marbled effect.
• Bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
• Let it cool in the baking pan for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan.
Now all you have to do is cut a slice, enjoy the flavor, and feel the well-being in every bite – because taking care of yourself has never been so delicious.
