It seems we reach a point in life where we start to worry more about aging well than "not aging"... we realize that the lucky ones in life are the women who age with humility and physical mobility. It's not about whether the skin is "tight," but whether we can climb stairs, cook, carry bags...
And from everything I know, have studied, and from real-life examples around me... the best (and I can say only) way to truly age with quality of life involves diet, physical exercise, and emotional well-being.
These are the top 3 things that will make all the difference in the future — because, as we all know, the only thing we can't change is the trajectory of life towards old age. If we're lucky, we'll all grow old, healthy, and strong.
My best tips for starting to strengthen ourselves now so we can have a better future.

-
Good fats every day
To maintain skin elasticity , balance hormones , and reduce inflammation .
My favorite healthy fat is ghee.
Include in your diet: avocado, walnuts, flax and chia seeds, extra virgin olive oil, wild salmon. -
Foods rich in vitamin C
Essential for collagen , radiance, and cellular repair.
Include in your diet: kiwi, citrus fruits, bell peppers, berries.
Here we take many beauty drops that help strengthen connective tissue and bones.
-
Complete and easily digestible protein
For muscle mass, skin firmness, metabolism, and energy.
Include: eggs, tofu, good quality grass-fed red meat, saltwater fish (nothing farmed), legumes, natural yogurt (if tolerated), and if you feel you are not consuming enough protein, start taking plant-based protein shakes with water, etc.
(And yes — enough protein is one of the things that most changes the strength and structure of our body and mental agility.) -
"Green" every day
Dark green leafy vegetables, such as spinach and chard, are some of the best allies in healthy aging. Rich in folate, vitamin K, magnesium, and antioxidants, they protect the brain, strengthen bones, help regulate hormones, and support the body's natural detoxification—essential for maintaining energy, mental clarity, and vitality as the years go by.
Includes: spinach, kale, chard, beet greens.
As an extra benefit, take chlorophyll drops - they help detoxify, balance hormones, and protect the brain.
-
Foods rich in polyphenols (real anti-aging)
They combat oxidative stress and prevent silent inflammation.
Includes: green tea (especially matcha), pure cocoa, pomegranate, organic dark grapes, good olive oil. -
Fiber for real
It balances hormones, improves digestion, and reduces inflammation—all things that accelerate aging.
Includes: vegetables, seeds, fruits with peel, whole grain oats.
-
Adaptogenic plants
The most studied for energy, stress, skin, and hormones.
Includes: reishi , ashwagandha , shatavari, maca , tulsi.
These medicinal plants, used for thousands of years in traditional Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine, make ALL the difference, especially for women who live in a constant state of alertness, stress, and anxiety, and consequently have low energy.
What you should avoid to age well, naturally.
-
Daily sugar and desserts: They cause glycation — the process that “hardens” collagen and creates premature wrinkles.
-
Refined and fried oils
They increase inflammation and leave the skin more sensitive, thin, and reactive.
Avoid: refined sunflower seeds, corn, soy, fast food. -
"Light" products, artificial sweeteners, and packaged snacks
They cause inflammation, alter the gut microbiota, and generate constant cravings. -
Processed meats from conventional farming and farmed fish
It has fewer nutrients and residues of antibiotics and additives. Frequent consumption can promote inflammation in the body – which affects the brain, bones, and hormonal balance over the years. -
Protein deficiency (yes, this accelerates aging)
Many women eat too little protein , which leads to more sagging skin, loss of lean muscle mass, and poorer cellular regeneration. -
Chronic lack of sleep
It's not food, but it's the biggest accelerator of aging in women. -
Unmanaged stress
It keeps cortisol levels high, which accelerates brain aging, weakens bones, and disrupts hormones, directly affecting how we age internally. Elevated cortisol literally destroys collagen.
