Caramel and Maca Pipocas

Because not doing some popcorn the time is asking for something more homemade and warm. These popcorn is super great but super healthy;)

The trick? Use the oven! Try those will not regret.

Ingredients:

Serves 4 to 6

  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil

  • 1/2 cup of corn for popcorn

  • 1/4 cup of sugar syrup or other sweetener to taste

  • 1 tablespoon almond butter

  • 1 tablespoon raw cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon of litter

  • 1 teaspoon of cardamom

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt flower

  • 1/4 cup of almonds or nuts, chopped

 

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 160ºC. Line a tray with parchment paper and set aside.

  2. Melt the coconut oil in a medium pan on high heat. Carefully add corn and tape. Shake the pan well every 10 seconds while they sneak, so as not to burn the popcorn. When it stops crackling, remove the heat from the heat and pour the popcorn into a large bowl.

  3. In a blender glass, add the sucer syrup, almond butter, cocoa, stretcher, cardamom, salt flower and vanilla. Beat until incorporated.

  4. Add almonds to the popcorn. Drizzle with the almond mixture and wrap to cover. Spread the popcorn on the prepared board and bake for 6 minutes. Turn the popcorn with a large spoon or spatula to bake all over. Let it stay for another 2 to 3 minutes, or until the popcorn is golden and dyes.

  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with another pinch of salt flower. Let the popcorn cool slightly on the board before eating. *

*Be careful, let the popcorn cool shortly after taking off the oven. The wait will save some burnt and sticky fingers. It is very worth it!
